A restoration of a classic Cooke refractor including 23.4 carat gold plating on rings.The brass will mellow to match. The refractor was shipped from Italy last year for a client in the US. All the old varnish has been removed, the scope sympathetically restored, adapted to take modern eye pieces and a custom mount built. All ready to be shipped to California.
